I needed a new engine when the timing chain went on my Mini Cooper S just before Christmas. I was very sad to discover it not covered by my RAC Platinum Warranty and my garage the mini specialist in Reading quoted me £5k for a 2nd hand engine with only a 3 month warranty or £8k for a new engine.
Neither option seemed like particularly good value, so I looked around and got a quote from Sian Autocentre - which was significantly less for a reconditioned engine so new parts and then backed with a 12 month warranty. They were even able to pick my car up from garage the same day.
I was a bit nervous handing my car cover to a garage I never even visited but the service I've received from SIAN has been better than my 2 or garages. They didn't talk down to me despite me being female, I felt could trust them and I have not been disappointed. They fitted my new engine and I've just taken my car in for the 500 miles service.
The car is running better then when I bought it - Massive thank you to Kevin for everything and Dion for not mind my frequent calls for updates.
Really great garage and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
